Garden Craft Reimagined: From the Creators of Layla Comes a Hidden Oasis in Saigon

From the creators of Layla – Eatery & Bar, we bring you the next chapter of our journey! As passionate lovers of all things hospitality, it is time for us to share our love for “Garden Craft.” The name says it all — we’re bringing the spirit of summer to life through reimagined architecture, an inventive, spontaneous menu, and theatrically crafted cocktails.

We’re fortunate to be nestled inside a heritage building, tucked away in a lesser-known corner of Lý Tự Trọng Street in Saigon, right next to the iconic Bến Thành Market. Through an unassuming entrance, up what feels like an endless staircase, and behind a heavy brass door that beckons curious souls — lies our intimate little “experiment.”

At the heart of our concept is a deep love for “garden craft,” integrated closely with a “farm to bar” philosophy. This means more than just “garden to glass.” We actively practise better on-site recycling, avoid plastics in deliveries, craft zero-waste cocktails, and work closely with sustainability programs from local growers and suppliers.

Our menu is inspired by the freshest, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. Expect crave-worthy small plates, shareable cocktails served in watering cans, inventive signature drinks, a curated selection of old and new world wines, local and international spirits, imported draught beers — and plenty more waiting to be discovered.

With over 10 years of experience working with various hotel and resort brands in Nha Trang and Phú Quốc, including Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay,
Vinpearl Nha Trang, Fusion Cam Ranh, and Radisson Blu Hotel Phú Quốc, Chef Phạm Văn Nhật has now chosen Ho Chi Minh City as the next destination on his culinary journey.

Bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise, he has introduced a fresh perspective to the culinary fusion at WKND Restaurant.
