Beef Salad with Tamarind Sauce

Ingredients

  • 600 g D-Rump

  • 100 g powdered grilled rice

  • 10 g chilli powder

  • 50 g tamarind

  • Basil

  • Salad

  • Sprouts

  • Purple cabbage

  • Fish sauce, sugar

Method

Pre-processing

  1. Dried beef

  2. Season the meat with a little salt and pepper

  3. The following types are washed, lettuce cut into bite-sized pieces

Processing

  1. Heat oil in a pan, then the beef and sauté for about 6-8 minutes until medium rare.

  2. Let the meat rest for 10 minutes. Slice the beef about 1 cm.

  3. Add 50 g tamarind and 100 g water to cook for 10 minutes, then remove the residue.

  4. To make the sauce, add tamarind juice, 30 g fish sauce and 50 g sugar. Mix well.

  5. Mix dry chili rice powder: 3 g msg, 7 g salt, 50 g powdered grilled rice. Then puree.

  6. Add a portion of freshly ground rice powder and tamarind sauce and mix well.

  7. In another large bowl mix the salad, sprouts, and red cabbage.

  8. Mix half of the sauce with the beef in the pan and drizzle the rest of the sauce over the salad, tossing.

  9. Arrange the salad on a plate and put the beef on top, sprinkle with chili powder.

  10. Garnish with some coriander.
