  • 1/2 tsp of pepper
  • 3 tbsp of Soju
  • 50 ml of soy sauce
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 baro onion
  • 1 onion

Method

Preparation:

  1. Defrost the Australian chuck beef overnight to make it more flavourful.

  2. To prepare it for cooking, wash the beef and dry it with absorbent paper.

  3. Wash the onion, baro onion and enoki mushroom.

  4. Chop the baro onion and set aside. Peel the enoki mushrooms and separate them into strands, then slice the king oyster mushroom and onion.

To marinade:

  2. Slice the beef to desired thickness and place it in a large bowl.

  3. Mix in the 1/2 tsp of ginger powder, soju, the mushrooms, onions and sauce together. Marinade the beef for 60 minutes.

To cook:

  1. Add cooking oil or olive oil to the pan on medium heat.

  2. Let oil warm and add the marinated beef to the pan to fry. Season to taste.

  3. In order to preserve the meat's flavour and sweetness, cook it until it is done or medium-rare.
